We were underway from Le Tub Saloon in Hollywood, Florida around 9:00 am (yesterday was a long day!) 😉 We cruised up the Intracoastal Waterway past Port Everglades and the big ships (freighters and cruise ships) and the mega yachts at the 17th Street Bridge then made our way up the New River. We had a favorable current and very little traffic this Friday morning which made transiting the New River very pleasant. We encountered a large motor yacht in tow at the Davie Bridge but we had plenty of room to get out of the way and no other nearby traffic.
After a 29 day trip, to the Keys and back with several adventures along the way, we returned to Lauderdale Marine Center around noon. LMC will be our home until we leave for the Bahamas in early February, weather pending! Today marked the end of another fantastic trip with the awesome crew on WHO CARES! 😉 Let the adventures continue!!

“Little Florida”
Little Florida is a riverfront property on the New River shaped like the state of Florida and is one of the river’s several hairpin turns.
