Firefly Sunset Resort and Tahiti Beach, Elbow Cay, Abaco Bahamas

We woke up today with not even a whisper of a breeze! Steve and I brought Abby to shore for her morning constitution at sunrise and were treated to a gorgeous view of a smooth Sea of Abaco! Our first destination on this beautiful day is Firefly Sunset Resort, located on the Sea of Abaco. It is a short dinghy ride from our anchorage at Tahiti Beach. They boast seven fully-equipped cottages and villas, the on-site Firefly Bar & Grill, two pools, a boutique and all the amenities and services you would expect from a high-end resort.

We arrived at Firefly Sunset Resort around noon and stopped to check out the bar and grill, and it’s beautiful view, and picked up a beverage before heading out to explore the resort grounds and amenities. It is a beautiful resort in a beautiful setting. With a calm sea today, the water in front of the resort is dazzling, crystal clear in stunning colors! We enjoyed a great lunch then went back to the boat to collect our beach supplies for Tahiti Beach!
