We had a beautiful, short cruise this morning from Tahiti Beach to Hope Town and entered the Hope Town Harbour shortly after 9 am. We passed the Abaco Rage, a traditional Bahamian sloop or work boat, heading out for a club race. The sloop is 28’ long and today has a crew of 15! Our favorite mooring ball at the south end of the mooring field was available so we wasted no time in securing the boat and heading ashore to explore. Sherri and I went to the Elbow Reef Lighthouse and climbed to the top for an amazing vantage point of Hope Town and it’s harbor.
