Yay!!!!  Great weather finally….for longer than just a day or two!!  The weather changed just in time for Steve’s birthday today, July 4th!!  July 2nd was a turning point…absolutely beautiful!  I love that there are flowers everywhere!! I think people here take full advantage of the short summer season.  Yards and parks are bursting with blooms and kelly green grass, garden ornaments and yard furniture abound.

Today’s Forth of July festivities were a blast!  The parade drew a huge crowd!  How did I get pix of the spectators but didn’t manage to get pix of the parade?!  It was a real crowd pleaser! We had front row seats to the Forth of July fireworks.  The fireworks barge was anchored directly off our marina!

We’ve had 8 great days in Harbor Springs!  Tomorrow we head for Mackinaw City, the northern-most point in our cruise from Lake Michigan to Florida.  It’s all downhill from there 😉
