Put-in-Bay on July 15, 2017

It was a gorgeous day yesterday!  Taking advantage of the awesome weather, we went with our Port Clinton/Punta Gorda friends to the party island of Put-in-Bay in Rich’s boat.  This crowd is a regular there and Steve and I were treated to a whirlwind tour of ALL the hot spots (bars, restaurants, parks…..and “Petri dishes”!!)  We bellied up to a few popular bars and walked through the park, then off to The Keys for lunch on the deck overlooking the water.  All the bars were hopping and packed on this beautiful Saturday afternoon.  After lunch we hit a few more bars and checked out the “Petri dishes.”  You may have seen similar “Petri dishes”….they are all characterized by 100 or more “bathingsuit” clad, 20 somethings, standing in waist-high water, drinks in hand in various stages of intoxication…and NO line at the bathrooms….eeeewwww!!  Oh to be twenty something and stupid (see pictures below).
