The Adventure Begins!

And the adventure begins! I arrived in New Bern, North Carolina after a long day of travel from San Diego on October 28, 2014. Steve picked me up at the airport and I could hardly wait to see Whocares, Steve’s current 48′ Hatteras Long Range Cruiser (his second 48′ Hatteras LRC and third Whocares)! Awesome!! This is the start of our six month cruise. The next day I get settled in unpacking a couple boxes I had shipped to Steve and familiarizing myself with the boat layout (a few differences from the last Hatteras). My new home on the water…I love it!

Steve shows me around the New Bern Grand Marina and a little of the town. It has been several years since the last time I visited him in New Bern! Its a quaint and picturesque town. Plans were discussed to leave the dock to Oriental on the 31st!
